Production Details	Come to the Cabaret
	Wirral music lovers are being invited to ‘Come to the Cabaret’ by St Paul’s Operatic Society. In a departure from their traditional fare, Wirral’s oldest amateur operatic society – founded in 1906 – is turning Wallasey Town Hall into a night club for this special, one-off event. The usual venue for St Paul’s shows, the famous Floral Pavilion in New Brighton, is currently closed for total renovation so the idea for a cabaret show at Wallasey’s impressive town hall was dreamed up by the committee. Featuring such favourite numbers as April in Paris, The Lullaby of Broadway and Some Enchanted Evening, it promises to be a glamorous, fast-paced performance, showcasing some of the Wirral’s star soloists and high-kicking dancers. The audience will sit at small tables where they can be served refreshments in a night club atmosphere. The company has been in rehearsal for several months under musical director Brian Smith and director Evelyn Clowes for what promises to be a rousing cabaret evening.
